This enchanting tea room is where it all began for my sisters and me — the place that first sparked our love for afternoon tea. From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by its charm, attention to detail, and genuine sense of hospitality. The atmosphere felt like stepping into a storybook, where every cup, pastry, and floral arrangement was thoughtfully chosen to create pure delight. Now, five years and countless tea times later — from coast to coast across the United States — I can confidently say that this tea room remains the gold standard. No matter how many others we visit, none have matched the warmth, quality, and magic of that first experience. It’s the benchmark I measure every other tea room against, and it still holds my heart as the one that started it all.

This place was amazing! Came in from out of town with my 3 girls to visit, and we love to visit different tea rooms when we go on vacation. My sister had recently moved to Elizabeth and had not yet visited this tearoom yet. She looked anf found this tearoom unexpectedly. I was so glad she did. The food and desserts were 10/10 and the tea was delicious!. We had the privilege of visiting with the owner and she was very sweet and attentive to all of our needs. The price was reasonable compared to other tea rooms that charge upwards of $100 per person. It came out to about $45 per person which was well worth it for what was served. We were absolutely stuffed by the end of our experience and all of our girls, ages 6 to 13 cleaned their plates and emptied the tea pots! Definitely a great experience and a place we will continue to visit every time we come to Colorado!

What a lovely little tea house this is; quaint and cute! Food is delicious and our server was great! The owner is a very sweet lady and remembered me from a year ago! I highly recommend CARRIAGE SHOPPES TEA ROOM for special occasions. We were there for a birthday.

Had tea here and it was amazing! The rooms were quaint and felt private enough to enjoy the tea, food and atmosphere! I would highly recommend this to anyone. Food felt like homemade goodness and the owner was personable, friendly and really just great!

Absolutely gorgeous tearoom with delicious food! The spinach salad, stuffed mushroom and scones were our favorites! We celebrated my husband’s birthday with high tea / afternoon tea and we both had a wonderful time. We left completely stuffed and we had even skipped breakfast to prepare for this! We will definitely be back. The owner chatted with us and she was so kind, and she responded quickly to my emails prior to our arrival as well. This place is absolute gem in Elizabeth!

The most wonderful experience with high tea, foods, salad with strawberries and feta, Monte Cristo sandwich as well as chicken cranberry sandwich, and of course scones, cookies and chocolate covered strawberries. Excellent staff and management too! The full package!

Me and my 2 sons came here for high tea on my bday. I am gluten free and called ahead and they made me an entire gluten free arrangement. That right there is amazing. The food was wonderful. The strawberry cream black tea was our fav and I cannot say enough about the hospitality of the owner Christine and all the staff. We had a great experience...thank you so much! The shop that is connected is outstanding; found so many cute items to take back with us. Wonderful place to come!

Such a special place! The food is amazing, the tea selection is wonderful, and the staff are the friendliest group of people I’ve ever met. The decor throughout the tea house is also adorable, and you can tell they’ve definitely taken their time making this place beautiful. I definitely recommend this tea house to everyone and can’t wait to go back
